This ensures that we fit and programme the hearing aids as close as possible to our goal for improved client satisfaction. Many patients find that they were unaware of the sounds they have been missing until we help restore their hearing.

Tinnitus diagnosis and management

Tinnitus is characterised by a persistent ringing, buzzing and/or whistling noise in your ears. Should you have these symptoms, we would first determine the cause and aggravating circumstances, after which we would consider managing the symptoms through hearing aids that employ sound stimulation and tinnitus-masking techniques.

Tinnitus may have multiple causes, which often makes it difficult to pinpoint and treat the exact source. However, we can still help reduce its severity through using hearing aids to suppress the frequent noise. Tinnitus management also includes getting enough sleep, reducing stress and anxiety and avoiding the intake of certain stimulants.

Custom-Made Ear Protection

Although hearing loss due to noise pollution can never be recovered, it’s definitely preventable. If you are exposed to sound levels louder than 85 decibels (such as industrial equipment), or to any loud sounds for an extended period of time during the day (such as listening to music on your earphones), you are at a greater risk of suffering from hearing loss.
